Immediately after being turned on, infrared rays radiate outward, resulting in heating all nearby objects in a widespread effect for quick and quiet comfort. Three heat settings are available, including the energy-saving ECO mode which maintains a constant 68 degrees. The programmable timer and adjustable thermostat are all easily operated from the unit’s extra large LED display control panel or remote control (2 AAA-batteries not included). Safety features include tip-over protection that automatically shuts off the unit if it falls over and an overheat safety switch. The cool-touch exterior cabinet also ensures no one will get burned if they touch or bump the heater.
