The dispensing area is 12 x 3 x 10 inches with 9 inches of space below the spouts. This will accommodate most large cups or bottles. There is a removable drip tray at the bottom of the dispensing area to catch any drips or spills. The water is pumped from the bottle through the sediment and carbon block filters and into the machine. There is a replace filter indicator that will alert you when to replace the filters and an empty-bottle indicator that will alert you when the bottle needs to be refilled. The water cooler is UL-listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. The unit dimensions are 41x12x13 inches. This water cooler is bottom loading with a 5-gallon refillable bottle as well as Patented Dual filters are included with the water cooler. This consists of a Sediment filter (listed as model Avalon A5FILTER) and a Carbon Block filter (listed as model Avalon A4FILTER) which will last 6 months or 1500 gallons.
