The APEC 3-stage specialized filter set FILTER-SET-CB3-KDF-20BB comes with three (3) 20 in. BB specialty filters to effectively treat a wide variety of water concerns. It is compatible with APEC point-of-entry whole house system CB3-SED-KDF-CAB20-BB and other system using industry standard 4. 5 in. X 20 in. housings. The 1st stage sediment filter captures and traps dirt, sand, silt, scale and rust particles down to 30 microns. This durable polyester filter has a pleated design to maximize dirt-holding capacity and is washable and reusable. The 2nd stage KDF filter captures chlorine, iron, lead, hydrogen sulfide and other heavy metal contaminants. The 3rd stage is a radial flow granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge that combines with outer and inner spun polypropylene filtration for reduced sediment and reduced carbon fines. It adsorbs chlorine, odors, taste and organic compounds. This 3-stage filter set is uniquely designed for versatile use to meet all of your large capacity filtration needs, suitable for simple whole house filtration, light commercial use or industrial applications with a fast flow rate.
