This model should not be mounted on light trucks. The specially designed zigzag grooves work with the strong, durable compound to provide exceptional year round traction. These tread elements enable the tire to safely perform on dry, wet, and snowy roads. The all season compound optimizes rubber flexibility in both summer and winter weather conditions. The grooves are able to eliminate water and slush from the footprint and prevent them from blocking the road contact throughout the performance. This effectively avoids the risk of hydroplaning. The tread pattern is able to lower the rolling resistance, which in return reduces the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The rolling resistance determines how much energy is needed to keep tires in constant forward motion. This promotes a cost efficient and eco friendly driving experience. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked. The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire’s overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer’s recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
